Authorities say they've found the body of worker a day after he went missing at a northern Virginia quarry when a silo collapsed. Loudoun County Fire and Rescue officials said Tuesday that rescuers worked through the night at the Luck Stone Leesburg Quarry in Ashburn searching for the 18-year-old man last seen working near the silo on Monday morning.

A Sterling man pleaded guilty last week to attempted first-A degree murder and other charges in a failed plot to kill his ex-wife, according to media reports. Dallas Walton Brumback Jr., 36, faces up to 50 years in prison when he's sentenced, the Washington Post reported Monday.

A teenage worker has been found dead more than 24 hours after an 80-foot silo full of mineral filler partially collapsed at a Loudoun County quarry. His family has been notified but his name is not being released at this time.

The search continues early Tuesday morning for a missing 19-year-old worker at a quarry in Ashburn, Va. His body was later found about 6:30 a.m. The man, whose identity was not immediately released pending the notification of his family, was found around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A man from Frederick, Md., faces up to life in federal prison for firebombing a Loudoun County corrections building in 2012. Jonathan Ernesto Godoy, 25, made his first appearance in the federal court in Alexandria on Monday on charges of using a destructive device during or in relation to the arson of the Loudoun County Department of Community Corrections building, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.

When One Loudoun was approved in 2007, developer Miller Long received approval to build 446 residential units in the town center portion of the 358-acre Ashburn project. Although it has not started construction on any of those units yet, Miller Long is returning to the county seeking approvals to build 725 more units in the town center, bringing the total to 1,171.
